From humble beginnings in a small, worn classroom to a thriving institution with modern facilities, Bidii Comprehensive School''s journey is a testament to resilience, community support, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Our history is filled with stories of growth, challenges overcome, and milestones achieved that have shaped us into the school we are today.
established in 1982 as Buruburu Primary School to serve the umoja and buruburu estate Bidii Comprehensive Primary School has grown from intial 27 students into one of Nairobi most populus and top performing performing public institution. Renamed in 1994, the school now operates under the competency-based Education (CBE) and has recently transitioned into a comprehensive school capable of hosting Grade 9 leaners. To address the congestion issue for it over 2000 student the school has undergone significant infrastructure expansion, these including the 2025 commision of the passaris Block and additional blocks funded by the National government Affrernative Action FUND (NG-AAF) and the chinese embassy.
